About the Role
We’re looking for a curious, hands-on Senior .NET Developer to join a fast-growing tech-driven business in Auckland CBD. If you love building modern web apps, solving tricky problems, and experimenting across the full stack — this is a chance to make a genuine impact while working with a talented, down-to-earth team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance web applications using C# and modern .NET frameworks (MVC, Minimal APIs, Azure/AWS Functions).
- Contribute across the stack — from database design to front-end work in React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and DevOps to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Deploy and monitor applications using Terraform, AWS, and CloudWatch.
- Experiment, learn, and adapt — embracing new technologies and tools as the stack evolves.
- Champion clean code and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
Skills & Experience
- Solid experience building web applications in C#/.NET.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React preferred).
- Strong understanding of database fundamentals — schema design, query optimisation, and performance tuning.
- Exposure to Terraform, AWS, or Azure for cloud deployments.
- Bonus points for interest or experience in Python, financial/investment systems, or containerisation (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).
- A growth mindset — eager to learn, experiment, and share ideas.
