Senior Project Manager (6 months contract)

A nationally recognised essential‑services organisation is kicking off phase one of a large‑scale ERP and customer‑platform modernisation (SAP‑class complexity on a next‑gen stack). ANZ Talent Hub has been retained to secure a Senior Project Manager who can give executives clear visibility while driving the programme to each milestone.

Key responsibilities

• Set and maintain the delivery roadmap, integrated schedule, and RAID framework.
• Mobilise and lead cross‑functional teams: project leads, BAs, SMEs, engineers, integration partners, and data‑migration specialists.
• Chair cadence ceremonies and steering forums; produce concise, decision‑ready reports for C‑suite stakeholders.
• Control scope, budget, and quality through firm vendor and contract management.
• Embed continuous‑improvement practices in Service Delivery; capture and act on lessons learned.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, security, and audit requirements.

Essential experience

• 8+ years managing complex enterprise projects.
• ERP or CRM implementations in regulated or asset‑intensive sectors.
• Success delivering projects for or within consultancy/service‑provider environments.
• Blended delivery models: Agile for build, stage‑gate for governance.
• Advanced stakeholder, vendor, and commercial negotiation skills.
• Mastery of Jira, MS Project, Power BI, or similar tools.

Nice to have

• Exposure to large‑scale customer‑platform projects (D365, Oracle, Salesforce, or similar).
• Formal Agile certification (ICP, PMI‑ACP, CSM).
• Understanding of software‑integration patterns and local security frameworks.
