Senior Software Engineer (Java) - Auckland

ANZ Talent Hub is hiring  a Java Software Engineer to join an established technology team building scalable, production-grade systems. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full software lifecycle with a strong focus on quality and maintainability. 

The Impact

• Develop and maintain Java-based services using modern frameworks.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Write clean, testable code with a focus on reliability and performance.

Your Profile

• Commercial experience as a Java developer, ideally using Spring-based frameworks.
• Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and event-driven principles.
• Experience working with SQL databases and containerised environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Comfortable working in agile, collaborative teams.
